The short answer
Choose by the named access: a specific restricted gallery, chapel or specialist workshop. General VIP wording and reserved entry are not the same as permission to enter a restricted space.

| Key limitation | The source describes restricted-room access conditionally and contradicts itself on admission payment: inclusions say tickets, while the description says pay the guide in cash. Obtain written confirmation before treating either benefit as settled. | The studio visit is identified in the selected option rather than the general itinerary, so confirm the reserved access in writing. Hotel return is excluded, and religious closures can alter the Basilica portion. |

Our editorial view
Start with what matters for your visit, then compare the practical tradeoffs.
The original Bramante Staircase, Niccoline Chapel, Cabinet of Masks and Mosaic Studio are distinct places. A promise of one does not include the others.
Some listings describe restricted access as a request or possibility. Obtain confirmation for your date if that room is the reason for booking.
Special tickets can be excluded from the guiding price or non-refundable. Where a source disagrees with itself, the tour page highlights the discrepancy.
Before booking
No. Reserved admission to the normal visitor route does not grant access to restricted rooms.
Not always. Some offers make access conditional. Confirm the exact room and date before committing.
No. A Key Master experience specifically follows the opening of the Museums; other specialist visits use different access arrangements.
